Steve was born in Bristol and lived there until moving to Wiltshire in the late 1980’s.

He previously worked for a manufacturing company before being called firstly to Local Preaching and then later to ordained ministry.

He has two daughters, a son and two granddaughters, and has been a minister in the Salisbury Circuit since September 2015.

He came to Salisbury as a first appointment following training at The Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham and his passion is making worship to God accessible to all people, and also taking the Good News of Jesus beyond the walls of the church, as the love of God is something worth sharing with all people.

Steve is currently minister at Bemerton and Bourne Valley (as well as previously Fordingbridge and Sandleheath), and is taking on Amesbury and Shrewton from January 2024. He is also a part-time chaplain at Salisbury District Hospital and enjoys the balance of ministry that this provides.
